UCON water soluble base stocks are sold as fluids and lubricants alone or are bought by formulators or marketers as a base to add their own additives for creating their own lubricant. Water soluble base stocks are preferred when washability is essential. These lubricants are used in the fiber, metal working, and the sugar beet processing industries.
